Guided Fishing

For our guided trips, we use our fully equipped, modern 20' aluminum Thunderjet boat with electric downrigger, Humminbird Fishfinder 787c², fishtank, 115hp Suzuki outboard motor.

Boats for rent, by hour & day

• 14’ NADEN, 8hp outboard, equipped with Humminbird Fishfinder 100SX or Garmin Fishfinder 80 and small downrigger available

• 16’ NADEN, 30hp outboard (2-stroke), equipped with 2 manual downrigger and Humminbird Fishfinder 515 or 100SX

• 20’ LUND Alaskan, 75hp outboard, equipped with 2 manual downrigger and Humminbird Fishfinder 565 - pleasure craft operator license required!

Our rental prices include life vest, safety equipment, fuel and instructions

Fishing gear

We provide the necessary gear for your fishing excursions, including rods for casting, trolling and fly fishing. Lures, spinners & bait (Yukon side only) are provided as well. Equipment rental is included in all guided trips. Please refer to our Rates & Package section for more details.

Guests are welcome to bring their own fishing rods - however there is no refund available!

Angling licence & Fishing regulations

A Yukon Angling licence can be purchased at the lodge or is included with some of our packages. With Tagish Lake being a cross-border lake with BC, the BC Angling License is valid in the Yukon part as well, however the Yukon Angling regulations apply.

Tagish Lake figures among the protected waters in the Yukon and there are special regulations for catch and posession limits. We mainly practice catch&release during our excursions. We closely follow the guidelines and regulation of Yukon Environment, department of Fisheries and Ocean Canada. A leaflet to study prior to your trip is available at the Lodge.
