We have been fishing Tagish Lake since we arrived at Tagish in 1994. Living here almost year-round, we have learned Tagish Lake can produce some very big fish. At 630 meters (2,100 ft) above sea level, this lake is typical in behaviour to most alpine lakes. Weather, air pressure and underwater currents may influence your fishing techniques every day..

The ecosystem on Tagish Lake is extremely fragile in terms of sport fishing. We make it our goal to preserve the stock of lake trout and northern pike by releasing most of the catch after we measure, weigh and, of course, take pictures. The Yukon Department of Environment also recommends we follow catch and release.  Everybody loves catching trophy lake trout or pike. But if you help us support the concept of fish conservation, our next visitors will have the same opportunity as you to catch a real trophy.

Accessible only by boats and float planes, we do our best to provide excellent services to our guests. Hot showers and fine food highlight your relaxing vacation after spending a day on the lake.
